Private groups
Team-building with your hands. We bring the materials, the boards and the calm to your office, venue or living room — for teams, bridal parties, birthdays and brand events.
Nobody is put on the spot and nothing is rushed. The pace is set by whoever needs the most time, which on a first workshop is usually everybody.
Your station is already set up when you arrive — cord cut to length, dowel, scissors and a printed guide. Nothing to buy or bring.
Lark’s head, square, spiral and double half hitch. We practise each one slowly on a scrap before it goes into the real piece.
You choose the pattern and the colour. Mariale moves around the table so no one gets stuck on a row for twenty minutes.
We finish, trim the fringe and comb it out together. You walk out with a wall hanging you made and the guide to make the next one.
Workshop seats work well as gifts and we can send a printable card with the date left open, so the person chooses when to come. Message us on WhatsApp and we will set it up in a few minutes.
I have been knotting and crocheting for long enough to have made every mistake a beginner can make, which turns out to be the most useful thing a teacher can bring to a table. I know exactly where people get stuck, because I got stuck there first.
Workshops run bilingually — I teach in Spanish and in English, and in Miami both usually happen in the same room at the same time. If your group prefers one language only, just say so when you book.

No. The beginner workshop assumes you have never held a cord before. We start with how to mount the cords on the dowel and build up to a finished wall hanging in two and a half hours. If you have knotted before, tell us when you book and we will give you a more demanding pattern for the same session.
Yes. Cord, dowel, scissors, measuring tape and a printed knot guide are all included in the $65 in-studio workshop. You take the finished piece and the guide home with you — there is nothing to buy beforehand and nothing to bring except yourself.
In-studio workshops are capped at 10 people, which is the largest group one person can genuinely help. Private sessions run from 6 to 25 people; above 15 we bring an assistant so the ratio stays workable.
Tell us at least 72 hours before the session and we move you to any future date at no cost. Inside 72 hours we can transfer your seat to someone else, or issue a studio credit valid for a year that you can spend on a workshop or on anything in the shop.
Yes. Every live session is recorded and the replay plus the written pattern land in your inbox within 24 hours. You keep both permanently, even if you later cancel the membership. There is no minimum term — cancel whenever you like.
Yes. Mariale teaches in Spanish and in English, and most in-studio sessions in Miami run bilingually. Private groups can request a session entirely in one language, and the Crochet Club patterns are written in both.
For groups of 12 or more we travel within Florida, and further afield when travel is covered. For anywhere else in the world we run the same session live online and ship a kit to each participant ahead of time, so everyone is working with the same materials.
Children from about 10 can do the beginner macramé workshop comfortably with an adult in the room. Below that the knots are usually more frustrating than fun. For family or kids’ groups we run a shorter, simpler project — ask us and we will put it together.
