Everything we sell is made after you order it, so the honest answer to “when will it arrive?” is production time plus transit time. Both are written below, with no rounding down.
Production time is counted in business days from the moment your order is confirmed — for custom work, that means from the moment you approve the spelling, size and colour, not from the moment you first message us.

Need something faster? Message us before you order — we can often prioritise a single piece for a specific date, and we will tell you honestly when we cannot.
Once your piece is finished we photograph it on the studio bench and send it to you. Nothing goes in a box until you have seen the real object and said yes. If something is off — the tone of a colour, the weight of a letter — we correct it before shipping, at no cost. This is the step that prevents almost every return.
Rates are flat by destination, not by weight, so a wall hanging and a kit cost the same to send. Transit time is counted from the day the parcel leaves the studio, after production.

Customs and import duties: international parcels may be charged import duty or VAT by your own country. Those charges are set by your customs authority, are collected on delivery, and are not included in our prices — we have no way to pay them in advance on your behalf. We declare every parcel accurately; we cannot mark an order as a gift or under-declare its value.
Fiber pieces are rolled rather than folded so the fringe keeps its fall. Plaster letters travel individually wrapped in a rigid box with corner protection. Every order includes mounting hardware and a printed care card.
You get a tracking number by email and WhatsApp the day your parcel leaves. If tracking has not moved in five business days, message us — we will open the carrier claim ourselves rather than send you to do it.
Tell us it is a gift and we will pack it in tissue with a hand-written card and leave the price off the slip. There is no charge for this. We can also ship straight to the recipient.
Handmade and custom work follows different rules than a mass-produced product, and we would rather you know which is which before you order than after.
If we made a mistake — a misspelled name we were given correctly, the wrong colour, a piece that does not match the photo you approved — it is ours to fix. We remake it or refund it in full, including return postage, and that applies to custom work too. “Custom is final” protects us from a change of mind, never from our own error.
Message us on WhatsApp or email bohemiahandmadestudio@gmail.com within 30 days of delivery with your order name and a photo. You do not need a form or a case number — you are writing to the person who made the piece.
Once we receive the returned item in its original condition, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days. Original shipping is refunded only when the return is our fault; otherwise return postage is yours to cover.
It happens rarely, and it is never your problem to solve. Send us photos of the piece and the outer box within 7 days of delivery. We will remake and reship the piece immediately — we do not wait for the carrier claim to resolve first, because that can take weeks and you should not be the one waiting.
If a parcel comes back to us because the address was incomplete or it went unclaimed, we will happily resend it once you cover the second shipping cost. Please check your address at checkout — it is the single most common cause of a delayed order.
You can cancel for a full refund any time before we begin production — usually the first 24 hours. Once cord has been cut or plaster has been poured for a custom piece, we can no longer cancel it, though we can almost always still change the colour or finish.
Delivery dates for a birthday, a shipping quote to a country not listed, a size question. Message the studio and you will get a real answer, usually the same day.
